We are excited to be featuring the wonderful works of local artist, Rubi Kazi. Rubi was born in Mumbai, India and moved to the United States in 1996. Her work with calligraphy and abstract art has been influenced by her upbringing, her international travels and her love of Rumi poetry & Sufi music. Her paintings carry a message of peace and eternal being – across all religions and cultures. Rubi Kazi is a celebrated bay area artist whose art work has been featured in the leading bay area publications, SF Examiner, Marin Journal, East Bay Express. Most of her work is acrylic or oil on canvas.
Rubi turns her paintings into wearable art by digitally printing on silk to create beautiful one of a kind scarfs.
